A field trip to Color Me Mine Schaumburg means learning by both seeing and doing! We offer pottery painting! First, kids will be guided through our studio to learn about the painting, glazing and firing process from one of our trained staff members who will also demonstrate some painting techniques. After the demonstration is complete, the kids will get to paint the piece you have chosen for them. Most projects require one hour to an hour and a half to complete. You leave the pieces with us for the glazing and firing, and come back to pick them up in 5 – 7 days. All of our paints & glazes are non-toxic, lead free, food-safe & easy to clean up and do not stain. These hand-painted masterpieces are practical in use and wonderful keepsakes that last a lifetime!
